How does Allshore differ from the rest?

Here is just a small list of Allshore differs from other offshore staffing firms:

1.  Direct access is provided to your developer during your business hours.

2.  RealVNC access to your developer’s screen; you can peek in anytime to see what work is being performed, and where your project stands.

3.  Real-time communication through Skype and project management through Basecamp.  We are utilizing tools that most are already familiar with, which helps to significantly cut “training time.”

4.  American ownership–You are working with a U.S.-based company, and we strive to ensure your needs are fulfilled.  This is probably the most important part of what we offer.  If you ever have any issues, complaints or differences, rest assured; you are working with fellow Americans that understand you, your business, your demands and desires, and we work hard to make sure you are always satisfied.

5.  We handle all the HR headaches associated with having employees.  Your developer(s) is a 1099 sub-contractor, and only logs time when working, not when they are sick or out on vacation.  We handle all the equipment, software, salaries, benefits, recruitment and retention issues associated with your sub-contracted developer.

6.  No minimum contracts are necessary, and you are able to end relations with a 30-day notice.

7.  You own your source code.  We do not keep your source code, and it can be uploaded wherever you like, as often as you like.

8.  We offer competitive rates equal to, or lower than, other offshore companies, starting at only $15.99 / hour.

9.  Allshore is here to protect you.   We are your representatives in the offshore industry.   Never go it alone, always have the backing of Allshore to protect your offshore projects.

Allshore Global Resources is a company that was founded to battle all the usual stress and risks associated with offshoring your projects overseas.  We have an impeccable track record and hundreds of satisfied clients to back up that claim.   Please schedule an online demo by calling us at (405) 310-3853.   We’d love to hear from you soon!

Always do your homework on any offshoring company!

Offshoring can be a great benefit for most U.S.-based companies, if it is done the correct way!  However, if it is managed incorrectly, it could be a huge disaster that can nearly put your company out of business.  It is important to always do your due diligence on any offshoring company that you may plan to do business with.  Ask for a list of referrals, or get a portfolio of projects they have completed.  Do not do business with the first offshoring firm you come across, just because their hourly rates are in the mid-teens.   Additionally, if the offshoring company does not provide you with direct access to your developer, WATCH OUT!  You won’t know your assigned developers’ level of experience, and you will most likely have a large, failed project on your hands.

Should you choose to pursue business with an international company, be even more cautious.  This is probably the most dangerous type of offshoring a U.S.-based company can do.  Why?  The reasons are endless.  The main reason is that you have no recourse if something goes wrong with your project or virtual employee.  Trying to sue a company in international law is very time consuming, tedious and not for the faint of heart.  You could very likely spend more money in attorney fees than it’s worth, and you will probably end up having to write off your losses.  Another risk with international offshoring is cultural and language differences.  If your only contacts resides in another country, you will have a much more difficult time with resolving issues, due to these differences.

When offshoring, you should always try to use a U.S.-based company.  You have recourse through U.S. law if your projects don’t end up the way you want them to.  Also, you have a U.S. contact (CEO) to assist you, that understands our culture and what you are going through.

My company Allshore Global Resources has been in business for over 1.5 years now.  Our goal at Allshore is to destroy all the risks associated with offshoring.  We have heard so many horror stories from clients about other offshoring ventures, involving thousands and thousands of dollars lost.  As I mentioned before, please always do your homework, and first look for a U.S.-based offshoring company for any offshoring needs to avoid seeing your company’s biggest projects become your worst nightmares.

Beyond Monetary Benefits

Partnering with resources companies, when you come down to the brass and tacks of it, was initially viewed as a means for companies to cut cost. Increasingly, however, this perspective has changed.  Resource providers are now seen as a strategic planning and business outcomes tool. Although cost savings are still a key benefit, the improved ability to plan and rapidly implement new strategies and initiatives, as well as higher levels of operational reliability, are more and more regarded as the driving factors for their success. Such advantages are increasingly availed of by forward-looking companies who made the strategic decision to entrust their business needs to companies like Allshore Global Resources, LLC.

A discussion on the benefits of employing the services of resource providers, however, would not be complete without anything being said about the people who work untiringly to help American companies realize their goals – the human faces behind the computer monitors – the resource talents who work behind the scenes and make things happen.

Clients of Allshore Global Resources, LLC, deal with their resource teams directly.  American project managers deal with their development teams on a daily basis. What is interesting to note is how this day-to-day personal interface eventually fosters a better understanding of religions, societies, customs, and cultural differences.

Take the case of Pakistan, for instance, one of the world’s leading IT hubs and source for highly talented outsourced personnel. With the ongoing armed conflict being waged against terrorism, Pakistan keeps getting dragged into the mud because of the turmoil brewing within its borders. Media focuses on the bombings and the Pakistani minority who mindlessly wreak havoc for misaligned reasons but neglects to expound on the majority of the Pakistani populace who are peace-loving and are deeply scarred emotionally, financially, culturally, and many times physically by the actions of a misguided few. Barraged constantly by sensationalized news, we run into the danger of heaping everything into one neat pile and stereotyping Pakistanis negatively. As an outsourcing provider, I have dealt professionally and, many times, personally with Pakistanis, and I have found them to be devoted, loyal, appreciative, goal-driven, and highly talented. They work very long hours, US business hours at that, meaning they toil untiringly and without complaint through graveyard shifts just so they can communicate effectively with American clients and US-based Account Executives. They disdain leaving work unfinished and will work past office hours just so tasks are completed on time and within specifications. They strive to meet, if not exceed, client expectations as they take personal pride in what their hands have wrought. They are extremely tolerant and understanding of confusions that may arise due to miscommunication or lack of appreciation for cultural differences.

Allshore clients eventually take on the same perspective.  As clients become more aware of who the real ‘Pakistani’ person is, perceptions change and what started out merely as a mutually beneficial professional undertaking gradually unfolds into minds taking on a fresh outlook and hearts beating to a different tune. For instance, one Allshore client needed a developer to work on web applications for Christian churches. Hesitant at first, this client eventually allowed a Muslim developer to work on his requirements. Our Allshore developer not only complied with the specifications provided, he exceeded expectations. When asked, the Pakistani developer only had this to say, “I am happy to do God’s work. After all, we are talking only about one God. He may be known by many names, but we have but one God.”

As one peels away the many misconceptions about Pakistan, its culture, and its people, one finds that the ‘true’ Pakistani, in my own humble opinion, is not that much different from you or me and is driven very much by the same ideals and dreams.

Globalization affords us unique opportunities to view other countries fairly and responsibly. We are on the cusp of a global economy that requires us to function as a single interdependent ‘global village.’ Resource partnering is yet another avenue for opening borders and unfettering hearts and minds.

Resource Companies a Boon for Companies

Are boosting earnings and reducing expenses becoming more elusive goals? Did you ever wish you had access to ‘super’ employees who work untiringly with you as you meet each business challenge head on? Were there days when you wished you could simply dispense with peripheral – yet important – tasks and just concentrate on core business concerns?

Many American business owners nowadays resort to entrusting in-house functions to resource providers like Allshore Global Resources, LLC primarily because they are an effective means of meeting manpower needs and maximizing limited resources.  Faced with a capricious local economy, prohibitive costs, and fierce domestic and global competition, every strategy that generates a competitive edge counts.

Since commerce by its nature necessitates shifting resources for comparative gain, partnering with resource companies is really not a new concept. Due to advances in technological capabilities, software development, administrative support, call center services, data management, accounting services, human resource management, telemarketing, web development,  etc., these days are also subject to market forces as ready access to global pools of technically competent overseas workers are now a reality.

The United States has been a major beneficiary of these trends.  How have  American companies benefited? By entrusting non-core functions to  resource providers – Allshore Global Resources, LLC, being the prime example – which offer to do these tasks more efficiently and at cost effective prices, U.S. companies are able to concentrate more on core business areas, saving money in the process and propelling revenue growth to greater heights.

Consider the major benefits of partnering with resource companies:

1. Global Access to Skilled Services

Business owners can enjoy the benefit of a global workforce, with local staff working and collaborating with a resource team — additional ‘employees’ working outside the company’s walls yet fully involved in all aspects.

In many instances, the functions that a company delegates may not be its core competency.  In such a situation, an resource partner like Allshore who specializes in these tasks will be able to perform these tasks more efficiently.

2. Huge Savings

Another enticing benefit is the cost factor.

Employee costs and IT services in the United States are not exactly inexpensive. One can realize substantial savings in personnel and infrastructure costs, as well as time and effort, when contracting the services of a resource provider. Not having to spend on infrastructure means one can do away with fixed investment expenditures like ‘tools of the trade’ costs such as additional computers, desks, chairs, etc. Furthermore, one is also freed from the burdens attached to maintaining and replacing such ‘fixed’ costs.

In addition, training costs are dispensed with, as well as FICA, 401K, and health insurance.

3.  Concentration on Core Businesses

Outsourcing  grants businesses the freedom to unload noncore – yet important – aspects of its operations to offshore companies which specialize in these very tasks, thus leaving the company free to wholly concentrate on operational competencies that generate cash flow.

4.   U.S. Business Hours

Although leading resource hubs such as Pakistan, the Philippines, India, etc.  are located in different time zones, a few work during U.S. business hours as these resource companies, like Allshore, want to make certain their clients have access to their ‘virtual’ office at hours that are most convenient to them.

Of course, there are other benefits – freeing up the management team from daily process issues, focusing of scarce resources to mission-critical undertakings, improving efficiencies through economies of scale, leveling of seasonal or cyclical fluctuations, reducing the risk of technological obsolescence, reducing the burden of overall management while retaining control of strategic decision-making, etc. – but the most important benefit of all, the one reason that is often obscured and lost amidst the accounting columns and business plans, is the immense opportunity resource partnering provides in making this a better world to live in.
